Custom Finger/Toe Prosthetic

Thank you for your interest in my work. I am an artist that is offering prosthetics for amputees without insurance. This is by far the most fulfilling art that I have ever made. I do all of this work myself so please read all of my descriptions very carefully and kindly follow my well-defined policies so I can continue to offer this unique service to those in need. I am a fine artist and I am self-taught in this field. Please send me a photo of both hands or feet, side by side before you make this purchase. I will give you approval if I feel confident that I can make you successful prosthetic.

KEY NOTES
-Designed for keyboard use and light wear.
-Premium style includes a natural handmade, strong nail that can be painted.
-The prosthetic will have your own finger/toe print and all of the skin detail of your own finger.
-Skin tones will not match your skin perfectly, but you can choose two tones from the many samples I will send you to borrow.
MATERIAL
Water-Resistant High Performance Platinum Silicone Rubber
Cured material is skin safe and certified by an independent laboratory to ISO 10993-10.
Nails can be painted with nail polish, which can be removed with a quick swipe of NON-ACETONE nail polish remover.
PROCESS
Within 10 business days of your purchase, you will be sent a mold making home kit in the mail with all of the materials you need to make skin-safe, brush-on silicone molds of your residual finger/toe and full corresponding finger/toe on the opposite hand/foot. This "Apply to Skin" cured platinum silicone rubber is skin safe and certified by an independent laboratory to OECD TG 439. It is ideal to have someone do this for you. The mold kit comes complete with written instructions and an online video tutorial.
Ship the molds, any unused materials and skin tone samples back to me within 2 weeks. Once your molds are received, your new prosthetic will be made and shipped out within two months.
SHIPPING
Please allow 10 business days for your kit to be shipped out to you.
Please allow 2 months for your prosthetic to be made once the mold is received back.
REPLACEMENT POLICY
Your molds will be archived in the artist's collection for at least one year to be used again for future prosthetic purchases. (subject to change) It will cost $456 (premium prosthetic cost) for each prosthetic made after the original.
NO RETURNS
Unfortunately, returns are not accepted on mold kits and custom orders.
