Cured material is skin safe and certified by an independent laboratory to ISO 10993-10
I sculpted the human body in abstract ways at The School of Visual Arts using polymer clay. I was first introduced to the basics of using silicone rubber after I graduated, when I apprenticed for the artist, Clarina Bezzola, in Brooklyn, New York. It was exhilarating to find the ultimate medium to replicate realistic, human skin. It instantly became my material of choice and I have since continued to develop my own techniques using high performance, certified skin safe platinum silicone rubber.
