Handmade in New England with love by Emily Boyd Longcope
I graduated with honors from the School of Visual Arts in New York City and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2008. Inspired by the vessel through which we walk through life, I study the human body in these hyper-realistic, silicone sculptures and life castings. The works have evolved over the years from display to wearable. I take pride in the work that I do and I truly want to not only please my customer, but exceed their expectations. It gives me great satisfaction to make functional art that serves a purpose and is useful to someone other than myself.
From Brooklyn to Rural Massachusetts
I never imagined how impactful it would be to move out of the big city to a place of peace and quiet. It has done wonders for my creative mind and family life.
